Roof repairs set to begin at aging Penns Grove Middle School

PENNS GROVE — The Penns Grove-Carneys Point Regional School District set a timeline for the completion of a roof and ceiling replacement at the Penns Grove Middle School, board officials said.

The board of education recently awarded a contract to D.A. Nolt for the repairs

of the roof and an additional stair platform lift replacement.The middle school is a Depression-era building, on Maple Avenue in Penns Grove, originally built as Penns Grove High School in 1935 as a Public Works Administration project
