DEPTFORD TWP. — A long-awaited ribbon cutting ceremony will take place on Aug. 21 to celebrate the opening of the new 24,000-square-foot University Center at Gloucester County College. The structure's completion comes just in time for September's incoming students. |
Gloucester County College currently has dual enrollment agreements with five other learning institutions, including Rowan University, Fairleigh Dickinson University, Rutgers University-Camden, Wilmington University, and the University of Maryland University College. The center — a $6.5 million building that will house 13 smart classrooms — will accommodate the college’s increasing enrollment and need for classroom space, as well as these new on-campus degree options. It will be used by the college during the day and for university programs by night. |
